As a result, you buy different hair products and start applying, with little or no results. Happened ever?
Don’t worry, you will be not disappointed with certain hair loss tips that I brings for you from my personal experience:
1. Keep scalp healthy with hot oil massage

Hair follicles are very sensitive and it requires nourishment to the roots of hair. It’s necessary to keep scalp healthy by conditioning it with oil massage.
Take an oil of your choice (preferably coconut oil, almond oil or Castor oil), heat it little bit and apply gently massage to scalp with your fingertips for few minutes.
The scalp massage enhance the blood circulation and helps hair follicles to remain active.Hair shafts absorbs oil well and helps new hair growth. So, the hair is less likely to damage and fall. Leave the oil on head overnight and wash with mild shampoo next morning.
Scalp massage with hot oil reduce the chances of scalp infections as well as remove dandruff and make hair more strong.
2. Choose right comb to prevent hair fall

Remember, your hair follicles are too sensitive and any kind of pulling even by comb can damage it. Combing hair becomes horrible when you are suffering from hair loss. With the right comb, you can reduce the amount of hair fall.
You can use a comb with wide-tooth and soft bristle brushes so that it will reduce hair pulling. After untangling your hair, you can use regular comb to style your hair. Wide-toothed comb is beneficiary when you are losing more hair as it will prevent hair breakage.
Also, it’s important to clean comb and brushes regularly to control hair fall.
3. Go for hair products wisely

There are so many shampoos with different ingredients and branding in market available. So, it’s important to go for hair products wisely. What most of us do is immediately switch our shampoo considering it as to prevent hair fall.
Before switching to any shampoo you must know about your hair type. What a shampoo do is just clean dirt and oil from hair. And now, many shampoos contain harsh chemicals that leaves hair dry and damaged.
Choose the shampoo that is sulphate-free as it cleans hair but cause it dry, brittle and more prone to breakage. So select a shampoos without chemicals and more natural ingredients to prevent hair damage.
A shampoo with mild and natural ingredients can be the good one for your hair. Before that, know what type of hair and scalp you have.
4. Hair loss prevention by Hair cleansing
It’s not just that you select a perfect shampoo and that’s done. No! It’s also equally important to keep hair clean on regular basis too. I have seen many people washing their hair once a week. That’s not enough!
And you won’t believe, I was one of them! Then I visit a doctor after I was facing constant hair fall and he suggested me to shampoo my hair at least twice a week.
However, the number of times the hair wash is totally depend on hair type and texture. If you have oily hair then you need to wash it often to prevent scalp infections. However, twice per week is OK for dry hair, as wash it often will make it more dry and weak with more chances to fall.
Wash hair with gentle shampoo to remove all dirt, oil or bacteria from the scalp. On the other hand, overwashing leads to strip off essential natural oils for healthy hair growth out of hair and scalps.
So not more, no less washing guys!
5. Avoid brushing wet hair
Wet hair are more vulnerable and combing wet hair make it more weak and breakable. If you need to comb wet hair then use wide-toothed comb. Also try to remove tangles with your fingertips slowly.
Do not use comb or brush to untangle hairs when wet. It requires to take care of wet hair while drying it with towel. Though rubbing wet hair with towel is most easy way to dry hairs but it leads to more hair breakage, pulling and tangles.
Instead of this, you can gently pat your hair with towel and squeeze out extra moisture from hair and leave it to dry naturally.
6. Not overstyling your hair
Nowadays this generation is using many styling products and hairstyles to make their hair look great. Many styling products that produces heat such as blow dryer or hair straightener are more dangerous. Heat from these products drain necessary water from hair shafts causes more hair shedding.
Also many chemical products that people apply on their hair such as serums, gels and many hair masks or hair highlights to style it are equally culprit of hair damage. Chemicals in these products damage hair follicles and hair cycle that triggers hair fall.
It’s a good habit to tight hair slightly loose if you are experiencing hair loss. Don’t apply hairstyles that pull or stress your hair such as tight ponytails, braids or pigtails daily.
Take a break before you put any tight hairstyle or chemicals on your hair.
7. Have a balanced diet with necessary nutrients
Your hair is what you include in your diet. It’s equally important to eat healthy diet to improve overall body health whether it’s skin, hair or immune system. It’s necessary to feed our hair with nutrition rich foods to prevent hair fall.
Foods that are rich in protein, iron, zinc and vitamins like Vitamin A, Vitamin B12, Vitamin E and Vitamin C should be consumed in daily diet. Sometimes lacking of these nutrients can also be the cause of hair fall.
Proper healthy diet helps to prevent hair fall, split ends or breakage. Make a habit to include foods such as carrots, whole grains, green leafy vegetables, citrus fruits, nuts, lentils, eggs, yogurt, milk products and sea foods like fish or lean meat.
As junk foods has harmful effect on hair, so try to avoid junk foods and cut down carbs intake. Reduce caffeine and fizzy drinks intake. With a proper food habit, it’s possible to reduce or prevent hair fall.
8. Keep hair enough hydrated
It’s important to keep our body hydrated for many body functions to work properly. When body is sufficiently hydrated, it efficiently pass required nutrients to every part of the body.
Hair structure and water are related to each other. Hair shafts comprises one-fourth of water and hair follicles require adequate amount of water to grow new hair. If you don’t take enough water then your body drain water from less vital functions and pass to more vital organs.
Thus, your hair follicles suffers from dehydration and stop producing new cells to hair grow and you face hair fall problem. So try to drink at least 8-10 glasses a day. Know how much water should you drink a day.
9. Practice yoga and meditation daily

Stress, anxiety or depression are another major factors affecting hair health. Significant stress causes more hair to shift into resting phase and thus promoting hair loss. This kind of hair loss is often referred as Telogen effluvium, Trichotillomaniaor Alopecia areata.
You may wonder that does stress causes this much affect to hair? Yes, stress can affect hair’s natural cycle as well as damage hair follicles. However, this type of hair fall is permanent. Once you get over the stress, hair starts re-growing.
